This substance may be carried under the provisions of Class 3 or Class 4.1 only if it is so packed that the percentage of diluent will not fall below that stated, at any time during carriage (see 2.2.3.1.1 and 2.2.41.1.18). In cases where the diluent is not stated, the substance shall be packed so that the amount of explosive substance does not exceed the stated value.

Nitroglycerin solution in alcohol with more than 1 % but not more than 5 % nitroglycerin shall be classified in Class 1 and assigned to UN No. 0144 if not all the requirements of packing instruction P300 of 4.1.4.1 are complied with.
